MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Social Security System (SSS) received the highest number of complaints in the first quarter of the year, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) said. The LTO topped the list of national government agencies, while the SSS did the same among government-owned and controlled corporations. An ARTA report released on Tuesday, May 5 showed that the LTO received 152 complaints from January to March. Of these, 132, or 87 percent, have been resolved.
