MANILA, Philippines — Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI) posted a higher first-quarter profit as cost-cutting measures and improved factory utilization offset weak demand in some mobility-related segments.  READ: IMI exits German manufacturing sector In a disclosure on Wednesday, the Ayala-led electronics manufacturer said its net income rose by 36.4 percent to $4.5 million in the first three months of 2026 from $3.3 million a year ago.   Revenue reached $220 million, which IMI said was broadly steady despite “continued sluggishness” in some markets tied to mobility.
