Camarines Sur acquires amphibious vehicle to boost disaster response

LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY, Philippines — The provincial government of Camarines Sur has acquired an amphibious vehicle to strengthen its disaster response capability. Governor Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr., in a phone interview with the Inquirer on Wednesday, said the all-terrain vehicle will improve emergency response during floods and typhoons. “The acquisition and use of the vehicle underscore the provincial government’s continuing efforts to strengthen disaster response capabilities and improve protection for residents during calamities,” he said.
