PAGADIAN CITY, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, Philippines — Seventy Olive Ridley sea turtle hatchlings found their way back to the sea after a swift report and coordinated action by local environmental frontliners in Barangay Alindahaw, Tukuran town, Zamboanga del Sur. The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 9 reported on Tuesday, May 5, that the hatchlings were first spotted at Acacia Beach Resort by Bantay Dagat member Jessie Wison, who immediately alerted authorities.
