MANILA, Philippines — Emirates returned to near-normal operations two months after the Middle East conflict had erupted, announcing Thursday that 96 percent of its global route network has now been restored. In a statement, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) flag carrier said this translates to 75 percent of its pre-war capacity, or more than 1,300 weekly flights to 137 destinations spread across 72 countries. Even amid disruptions from the Middle East crisis, Emirates said it still flew 4.7 million passengers between March 1 and April 30.
