DMW: Hantavirus-hit ship to dock; 38 Filipino crew uninfected

MANILA, Philippines — The cruise vessel MV Hondius, reported to have hantavirus cases among passengers, has been allowed to dock near the Canary Islands, with all 38 Filipino crew members remaining uninfected, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said on Thursday. Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said the Filipino crew has not contracted the virus so far, despite reported cases on board.
