What went down at the biggest PH pickleball tournament in Dumaguete

The biggest pickleball tournament with the largest prize pool to date in the Philippines took place in Dumaguete City from May 1 to 3. The PlanOut Pickleball Open 2026 had a prize pool of P1 million, and was joined by over 720 pickleball players and enthusiasts nationwide. The games of the PlanOut Pickleball Open were held across four venues, namely Riverside Courts, FKS Gym, Loops, and Burn Room, spanning 22 courts in total. The tournament featured several competitive categories, including mixed doubles, doubles men, and doubles women for novice, intermediate, and advanced players. The three-day competition concluded with a celebrity exhibition game featuring Beauty Gonzalez, Diana Zubiri, Eric Fructuoso, and Jeffrey Tam at the Riverside Courts.
