MANILA, Philippines — The tropical storm Hagupit may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning, the state weather bureau reported on Friday. When it enters the PAR, it will be called by the local name “Caloy,” which will become the third tropical cyclone in the country for 2026, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
