Universal Studios Orlando set to close much-loved Island of Adventures area to make way for mystery new section

The Florida-based resort confirmed the mythical-themed area will close permanently in phases, while the long-running Horror Makeup Show closes temporarily on May 12, 2026, for a redesign.
