"Police launched a major operation in Sinzig - small town in western Germany - early on Friday after several armed suspects reportedly took hostages inside a bank branch. Footage shows heavily armed special forces officers moving in formation around the building, while police cordoned off a large security perimeter/ A helicopter was also seen hovering overhead, monitoring the situation from the air. According to German police, several people, including a cash transport driver, were taken hostage at a Volksbank branch. Reports said the driver was seized after an armoured cash transport vehicle arrived outside the bank. Police confirmed that several suspects and hostages were believed to be inside the bank, adding that the situation was 'currently stable.'"
