"Ansariya in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon bade farewell on Friday to four young men killed in a reported Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Saksakiya the day before. Footage shows residents carrying the bodies on their shoulders to their final resting place, and holding pictures of them. "Today, there is a real massacre in Ansariya that has affected all families and homes,"said Hassan Jaber, a relative of one of the victims, Mohammad Jaber. He also called it "the greatest disaster Ansariya has faced." He added that the victims were "four young men in the prime of their lives, always present in Ansariya.. inside us, there is deep sorrow. Every home in Ansariya is filled with great grief." Youssef Al-Jundi, a member of Ansariya Municipality council, confirmed that the four young men "were active in everything in the town, especially sports," describing them as "the best and brightest youth of Ansariya" and saying they were "the soul of the town, torn away in this massacre." He also noted that the youths had "evacuated the town after the warning but were killed in an airstrike in Saksakiya." Local media reported an Israeli airstrike on the town of Saksakiya in the Sidon district had "resulted in four martyrs and 33 wounded, including six children and four women." Lebanese authorities announced that the cumulative toll of the aggression from March 2 to May 7 had risen to "2,727 martyrs and 8,438 wounded." Meanwhile, the Israeli army, through its spokesperson Avichay Adraee, had warned residents of several villages and towns in southern Lebanon on Wednesday to evacuate, including Ansariya and Saksakiya. It comes following a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, with further talks expected next week."
