World : Freed Detainee Wins Second Place In Palestine International Marathon After 32 Months In Israeli Detention

BETHLEHEM, May 9 (Bernama-WAFA) -- Freed Palestinian detainee, Mohammad Tawfiq al-‘Asi, from Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, won second place in the 10th Palestine International Marathon (42.195 km), turning his experience of detention and hardship into motivation for a notable athletic and humanitarian achievement, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported.
