"The Israel Defense Forces released video on Monday showing what it said were strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. Aerial footage shows several buildings exploding into clouds of smoke and debris. The exact date and location of the footage could not be independently verified. In a statement, the IDF said it had struck more than 85 Hezbollah infrastructure sites within 24 hours, including "weapon storage facilities, launchers, and structures used by Hezbollah." "In the Bekaa Valley, the IDF targeted an underground site utilised by Hezbollah for the production of weapons intended to harm IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians," the statement added. Israel launched ground, sea and air operations in southern Lebanon after Hezbollah fired rockets at Israeli positions during the wider conflict involving the US and Iran. A ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel came into effect on April 16 and was later extended for three weeks on April 23 after US-hosted talks involving Lebanese and Israeli representatives. Further talks are expected in Washington next week."
