Govt mandates aggregators to register gig workers on portal within 45 days

Aggregators must now upload gig worker details to a central portal within 45 days to comply with the Code on Social Security, 2020. Failing to make timely social security contributions will incur a 12% annual interest. New rules also mandate real-time recording of worker appointments and exits.
