Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in Golflands, Auckland carpark

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in an East Auckland carpark. Emergency services were called to Ti Rakau Drive, Golflands, about 10.20am after reports of a crash in a carpark involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, police told the Herald. Hato Hone St John said one patient was taken to hospital in a serious condition. One ambulance was sent to the scene. The Herald understands the incident happened outside Smart Supermarket. An employee at the nearby Resene ColorShop said they saw a man, who appeared to be middle-aged, lying on the ground with paramedics attending to him. Around four police cars were present, they said.
