Move over Raygun! - Hungarian health chief dances like nobody is watching in front of thousands at Magyar inauguration

"Future Hungarian Health Minister Zsolt Hegedus drew cheers from thousands gathered outside Hungary’s parliament on Saturday after breaking into an energetic dance performance during celebrations marking the swearing-in of new Prime Minister Peter Magyar. Footage shows crowds filling Kossuth Square as Magyar and Hegedus appeared on stage following the official inauguration ceremony earlier in the day. Hegedus later danced on the grand staircase of the parliament building, repeating moves that first gained him widespread attention during a rally at Batthyany Square on April 12, earning him the nickname ‘Dancing Politician.’ Several senior figures from Magyar’s incoming administration and potential cabinet members also joined the celebrations, sharing the stage and interacting with supporters. Earlier on Saturday, Magyar was officially sworn in as Hungary’s prime minister, ending 16 years of rule by Viktor Orban following the opposition’s landslide election victory in April. Magyar reportedly used his first speech as prime minister to demand the resignation of President Tamas Sulyok and other senior officials by May 31. Orban and several senior members of his Fidesz party did not attend the inaugural parliamentary session and are reportedly not taking up their seats in the new legislature. In April, Orban suffered a decisive election loss to Peter Magyar and his Tisza Party, which secured a parliamentary majority with over 53 percent of the vote. The Fidesz–KDNP alliance trailed with just over 38 percent. The campaign was overshadowed by competing claims of foreign interference. Orban's government accused the European Union and Ukraine of attempting to influence the outcome, allegations denied by Kiev and opposition figures."
