Himanta Biswa Sarma elected as NDA Legislature Party leader in Assam, set to take oath as CM on May 12

Himanta Biswa Sarma has been elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party and the NDA Legislature Party in Assam. Union Minister JP Nadda made the announcement following a meeting of newly elected NDA legislators. Sarma expressed gratitude for the support. He will take the oath on May 12.
