HYDERABAD: The Culture Department, Government of Sindh, organized a vibrant Ma’arka-e-Haq Painting Competition and Exhibition at the Bhitshah Cultural Center to promote patriotism, creative expression, and to pay heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the nation and their families especially the mothers of martyrs, whose (great sacrifices) were beautifully reflected through the artwork. Yousif Shaikh, Deputy Commissioner Matiari, attended the event as the Chief Guest and appreciated the initiative of the Culture Department in organizing a meaningful activity that connects young minds with national values and sacrifices. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with more than 50 children taking part in the painting competition. The young participants created powerful and inspiring artworks depicting themes of patriotism and national pride. A special focus of many paintings was the tribute to the mothers of martyrs, symbolizing their strength, patience, and unmatched sacrifice for the country. Alongside this, the children also illustrated the strength and valor of Pakistan’s armed forces, featuring Pakistan Air Force aircraft, Fatah and Shaheen missiles, tanks, and other symbols of defense and resilience. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Matiari, Yousif Shaikh, appreciated the creativity and patriotic spirit of the children. He highlighted that such initiatives play a vital role in building awareness among the younger generation about the sacrifices made by martyrs and their families, especially the mothers who stand as symbols of courage and dignity.
