Sindh Governor pays tribute to mothers

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on Sunday paid tribute to mothers; describing a mother’s love, prayers and sacrifices as the greatest blessing and most valuable asset in a person’s life. In his special message on Mother’s Day, the Governor said that mothers hold the highest place in human relationships and are a source of unconditional love, compassion and guidance. He said a mother is a great and noble personality under whose feet lies paradise, adding that her prayers serve as the foundation of her children’s success, strength and prosperity. Hashmi stated that respect, care and service for mothers are among the most beautiful aspects of Pakistan’s religious, cultural and social values. He said societies that honour and protect the dignity of mothers lay the groundwork for peace, harmony and moral strength. The Governor emphasized that mothers play a central role in shaping generations by instilling values of love, tolerance, discipline and humanity in their children. He said the character-building and upbringing provided by mothers contribute significantly to the development of peaceful, progressive and responsible societies. Paying tribute to the mothers of martyrs, Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi said the nation salutes those courageous mothers who raised brave sons willing to sacrifice their lives for the security, honour and dignity of the homeland during “Ma’arka-e-Haq.” He said the sacrifices of martyrs and the patience and resilience shown by their mothers will always remain a symbol of national pride and inspiration. The Governor further said that the nation owes immense respect and gratitude to mothers whose prayers, sacrifices and guidance continue to strengthen families and contribute to the country’s stability and progress.
