Charges have been laid after a pot of spaghetti was thrown at an Auckland cafe window. Video from The Hideout Espresso Bar on Symonds St on Monday, April 27 appears to show a man throwing the food at the window. It is understood the dispute unfolded after a disagreement between business owners about an overflowing bin. The Hideout Espresso Bar after spaghetti was thrown on the window. Photos / Anderson Mar Anderson Mar, who owns The Hideout Espresso Bar, spoke to the Herald shortly after the incident and said the pair had become involved in a physical confrontation. Senior Sergeant Shaun Richardson, Auckland City area response manager, told the Herald a 39-year-old man has been charged with assault and disorderly behaviour. He will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow.
