Human-rights groups call for Bato dela Rosa's immediate arrest

MANILA, Philippines – Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International Philippines called for the immediate arrest and surrender of former Philippine National Police chief and Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa to the International Criminal Court (ICC), following confirmation that the tribunal had issued a warrant for his arrest.  On Monday, the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) publicly unsealed an arrest warrant it had issued on November 6, 2025, against dela Rosa.
