MANILA, Philippines — The Senate’s decision to place Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa under protective custody amid efforts to serve an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against him is “shameful” and “disgusting,” a militant fishers’ group said on Tuesday. “Since when did the Senate become a refuge for people being pursued by the law?
