Cabinet of cowards? - Key UK govt ministers at talks with embattled Starmer as reports suggest NO ONE told him it was time to go

"Cabinet ministers including Health Secretary Wes Streeting, Defence Secretary John Healey, Energy Secretary Ed Miliband, Deputy PM David Lammy and others were seen arriving and leaving UK PM Sir Keir Starmer's official residence on Tuesday, for a crunch meeting amid growing calls for him to quit. Footage shows them walking to and from the famous door, as the world's media shouted questions including"Is it over for Keir Starmer?!" Streeting is seen as one of the main leadership rivals - along with former deputy leader Angela Rayner and so-called 'King of the North' and Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham. During the meeting, Starmer reportedly told the Cabinet he would not quit, saying no formal leadership challenge had been triggered - while Pat McFadden, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, claimed not one of them had challenged him. 81 Labour MPs have called on the PM to quit at time of publication - the magic number needed to trigger a contest - although they would need to unite behind a single candidate to do so."
