"Dozens of visitors flocked to the verbena fields in Laibin as a breathtaking sea of purple flowers had transformed the landscape of southern China into a living watercolour masterpiece. Footage captured on Tuesday reveals the purple landscape unfurling like a vast carpet, draping elegantly over the rolling hills of Xincheng County. A group of women moves gracefully among the blooms to create cinematic portraits, while families huddle together for cheerful selfies. "It’s great to have such a place where everyone can play, appreciate flowers and get close to nature. Now it’s early summer, and we just happen to go outdoors to enjoy the green trees and floral fragrance of nature," said one visitor. "When I saw this sea of flowers, I thought it was so beautiful. It’s my first time here, and I really think it’s extremely beautiful," added another. The primary site is the Lavender Manor (often referred to as Xincheng Lavender Park) in Xincheng County, Laibin City. Citizens and tourists meander through the narrow garden paths, as amateur and professional photographers crouch low to the ground, each striving for the perfect shot. These verbena thrive in Guangxi's warming temperatures of May, with the season peaking in June."
