LUCENA CITY, Quezon — Police authorities in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon provinces arrested 1,348 crime suspects during intensified anti-criminality operations conducted from May 4 to 10. In a report released on Monday, May 11, the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) said 297 suspected drug personalities were arrested in 247 anti-illegal drug operations across the region during the one-week period. Authorities confiscated 919.25 grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth), 92 ecstasy tablets, and 4,090 grams of marijuana worth P6.87 million based on Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) valuation.
