1,100 Hezbollah targets, more than 350 'terrorists' eliminated - Israel continues US-mediated talks AND strikes Southern Lebanon

"Spokesperson for Israel's National Public Diplomacy Directorate Shosh Bedrosian during a press briefing in Jerusalem on Tuesday announced on 'historic' diplomatic development of Lebanon relations. "Israel is continuing negotiations with Lebanon this week in Washington, DC, mediated by the United States. Now, what makes these talks historic is that both Israel and Lebanon share the mutual goal of disarming Hezbollah and reaching a peace agreement," she said. Bedrosian also reported strikes on '1,100 Hezbollah targets', as well as elimination of "more than 350 terrorists in southern Lebanon' who posed a threat to Israeli civilians and IDF troops since Hezbollah breached the ceasefire back in February." On Iran, spokesperson added Israel is coordinating closely with the United States. "Israel is working in full coordination with the United States to ensure Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile, and terrorist threat to our nations," she said. Bedrosian also reacted to US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee's claim 'Israel sent Iron Dome and personnel to the UAE during the war'. "I can't comment on those media reports, but I can share with you that Israel has an excellent relationship with the UAE," she concluded. The Israel-Hamas war erupted on October 7, 2023, after the movement staged attacks, resulting in the deaths of 1,139 people, mostly Israeli civilians, and the capture of over 200 others. In response, the Israeli military launched an extensive military campaign in Gaza, involving airstrikes and a ground incursion leaving 72,628 Palestinians dead and 172,520others injured at the time of publication. In January, US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff announced the launch of phase two of President Trump’s 20-point plan to end the Gaza conflict, which included transitions from the ceasefire to demilitarisation, installing a technocratic administration and reconstruction."
