MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Tuesday launched a new digital system to automate civil registry corrections. It added that the system aims to reduce processing time by at least 80 percent for up to 180,000 requests annually. The new platform, called the Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System (APCAS), will streamline the processing of petitions for correction in civil registry documents covered under Republic Act No. 9048 and Republic Act No. 10172.
