Heat index in parts of Cavite, Batangas, Quezon may reach 44°C

LUCENA CITY, Quezon– The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents in four localities in Cavite, Batangas, and Quezon provinces to brace for dangerous heat levels on Wednesday and Thursday, May 13 and 14. In its 5 p.m. bulletin issued on Tuesday, Pagasa said Cavite City in Cavite, Tanauan City in Batangas, and the island town of Alabat in Quezon are expected to reach a heat index of 44°C on Wednesday.
