India has said that the issue of illegal migration is being discussed with Bangladesh and has urged Dhaka to verify the nationality of individuals listed as illegal migrants. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India has requested faster verification to enable repatriation under established legal and bilateral processes, stressing that border security remains a priority.
