MANILA, Philippines–The Philippine government has a clear statutory pathway to implement the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa. “Under RA 9851, we may surrender a suspected or arrested person in the Philippines to the appropriate international court or tribunal. The other mode is extradition,” Department of Justice (DOJ) spokesperson Atty. Mico Clavano told reporters on Wednesday.
