MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – The Cebu Electricity Rights Advocates (CERA) is calling on legislators and regulators to conduct a comprehensive review of electricity bill components in a bid to lower power costs in the country. According to CERA lead convenor Nathaniel Chua, several charges in the current electricity billing system continue to burden consumers. “We understand that these charges exist because of existing policies and laws such as the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (Epira).
