According to Globe, the outage affected subscribers in parts of Metro Manila and nearby areas, with users reporting problems involving mobile data, calls, text messaging, and internet connectivity. “Initial findings indicate that in one affected area in Paco, Manila, underground fiber optic cables were damaged during drainage excavation works conducted by a DPWH subcontractor,” Globa said in an official statement.
