MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday said one person was arrested during the shooting incident in the Senate whose background is still being established. Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño said the individual was caught in possession of live ammunition and magazines on the second floor of the Senate building hours after the shooting. The Southern Police District said the man identified himself as a driver for the National Bureau of Investigation, but Tuaño said the PNP would conduct further investigation on his background.
