Tickets’ sale for Pak-Aussie ODI series starts from 22nd

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Thursday announced that physical tickets for the upcoming three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia will be available to fans from Friday (May 22). As announced earlier, online tickets will also go on sale the same day. Fans can purchase online tickets from pcb.tcs.com.pk from 1pm onwards. The first ODI of the three-match series will be staged at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Saturday, 30th May. The second and third ODIs are scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 2nd and 4th June, respectively. Physical tickets will be available to fans at 16 TCS Express Centres across the three cities, including eight in Lahore, five in Rawalpindi and three in Islamabad, a PCB spokesman said. To encourage fans to turn up in huge numbers, ticket prices have been set at an affordable rate, starting from PKR 200. Moreover, the PCB has announced the match officials for the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, set to take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from 30th May to 4th June. Sri Lanka’s Graeme La Brooy, who played nine Tests and 44 ODIs from 1986 to 1992, will lead the playing control team as match referee in all three ODIs. Pakistan’s Ahsan Raza, England’s Richard Kettleborough and Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena – all part of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires will perform duties as on-field umpires during the series. In the first ODI set to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 30th May, Dharmasena will be joined by Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob (ICC Emerging Umpires Panel) as on-field umpire. In the second ODI at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 2nd June, Pakistan’s Faisal Khan Afridi (ICC International Panel of Umpires) will join Kettleborough as on-field umpire, while Ahsan and Dharmasena will serve as on-field umpires for the third ODI at the same venue on 4th June. Pakistan’s Nasir Hussain – member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires will perform duties as fourth umpire in the third ODI. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
