MANILA, Philippines —The Supreme Court has rejected the temporary restraining order (TRO) sought by three lawyers to “preserve” all versions of the Senate blue ribbon committee’s controversial flood control report. The high tribunal, in a two-page resolution issued on April 29 but made public on Friday, did not grant the TRO and the status quo ante order sought by lawyers Marvin Aceron, Sikini Labastilla, and Purificacion Bartolome-Bernabe in their petition for mandamus and certiorari.
