China offers to establish AI hub

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Monday that China has offered to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub in Pakistan and invited Islamabad to join the World Education Alliance. Addressing a news conference after returning from the World Digital Education Conference 2026 in Beijing, the minister said there had been a significant paradigm shift in bilateral relations, adding that geopolitical dynamics were increasingly tilting towards Asia.
