CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Police in the MIMAROPA region arrested nine individuals, mostly wanted by police, in a series of coordinated anti-crime operations conducted over more than 24 hours, Acting Regional Director Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Ramos Dela Cruz said Monday. In Palawan, authorities arrested the No. 3 most wanted person in Sofronio Española, who is facing multiple counts of rape. Two other suspects wanted for statutory rape were also arrested in Rizal town.
