Almost 24,000 aspiring principals join DepEd assessment

MANILA, Philippines — Nearly 24,000 aspiring school principals nationwide joined a simultaneous assessment conducted by the Department of Education (DepEd), to ensure that the country will be able to maintain a pipeline of future school leaders under its continuing education reform initiative.  In a statement on Tuesday, Education Secretary Sonny Angara said that the National Assessment for School Heads (NASH) seeks to expand the country’s pool of eligible school principals.
