"Tehran was the site of a mass wedding ceremony for 110 couples in Imam Hossein Square on Monday. Footage shows couples arriving on military vehicles - including one very eye-catching pink one - with a photo of Iranian Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei placed on the front. Guests can also be seen gathering for the celebraitons. "No matter what happens, we stand behind our country. And I send this clear message: America and Israel will achieve nothing with all the sedition they are sowing against our nation," Hussein Bakhtiaari, one of the grooms said. Bride Shayesteh Mousavi added: "We want to tell the world that the Iranian people fear no threat or conspiracy. They stand with Islam and the Iranian Revolution. This crowd you see before you is a thousand people who have come to strike the enemy with a hard blow." Organisers stated: "On the anniversary of the marriage of Imam Ali (May 18), Tehran will host a grand collective wedding for 110 'Janfada' (self-sacrificing) couples at Imam Hossein Square. The event is organised by the cultural branch of the 'Mohammad Rasulullah' division of the IRGC in Tehran."
