MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — The first-ever Unity Cup in Mandaue City will officially open on Sunday, May 24, bringing together the city government and the congressional office in a joint sports tournament for the first time. Mandaue City Administrator Atty. Gonzalo “Sally” Malig-on Jr. said preparations are ongoing for the opening ceremony following instructions from Mayor Thadeo “Jonkie” Ouano, with organizers set to hold a final coordination meeting in the coming days.
