Starbucks Global calls ‘Tank Day’ promotion ‘unacceptable’ amid oversight questions

SEATTLE — Starbucks Global described the recent “Tank Day” controversy at Starbucks Korea as an “unacceptable marketing incident” and said it was implementing stronger internal controls and review standards following the backlash in Korea.
