Bus driver dies after Battersea Bridge assault as murder probe launched

A murder investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police following the death of a bus driver reportedly assaulted on Battersea Bridge. Officers were called at 00.33am on Monday, where they performed emergency first aid on the 64-year-old driver. The Transport for London driver, named as Sergei Krajev, was taken to hospital by London’s Air Ambulance, but sadly died on Tuesday. His family are being supported by specialist officers.
