A government school in Hapatnar, Kashmir, has been renamed Shaheed Adil Memorial High School. This honors tourist guide Adil Hussain Shah, who died saving tourists during a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April 2025. The renaming ceremony was attended by state minister Sakeena Itoo. Shah's bravery in protecting visitors during the attack, which claimed 25 tourist lives, is being remembered.
