Driver falls asleep during trip; slams into fruit stalls in S. Cotabato

COTABATO CITY, BARMM, Philippines — A fruit vendor was killed while an 11-year-old kid was hurt when a pick-up vehicle crashed into a roadside fruit stall in Tupi, South Cotabato, on Monday afternoon. The Tupi municipal police station reported that the driver of the white Toyota Hi-Lux pick-up fell asleep while traversing the national highway in Barangay Crossing Rubber at about 1:20 p.m. The vehicle was heading to Gen.
