SK Signet signs EV charging partnership with US firm synergEV

SK Signet, a Korea-based ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturer, signed a memorandum of understanding with U.S. EV charging infrastructure operator synergEV to expand cooperation across North America and Latin America. The two companies held a signing ceremony earlier this week at SK Signet's U.S. subsidiary in Texas, where they discussed plans to expand ultrafast charging infrastructure and collaborate on key projects. Texas-based synergEV currently operates more than 1,800 charging stations across 41 U.S. states and is developing approximately 20 EV charging hub projects, including a flagship hub in Texas. The company has secured more than 150 sites as part of an ongoing push to grow its North American footprint and expand into Mexico and Latin America. Under the agreement, SK Signet will participate as a pilot partner in synergEV's charging hub projects to validate product performance and operational reliability in real-world settings.
