"Huge destruction - including shocking images of a destroyed block leaning precariously to one side - was seen in the town of Haboush in the Nabatieh district, southern Lebanon, on Thursday. It followed Israeli evacuation warnings and reported airstrikes. Local media reported no casualties. Earlier on Wednesday evening, the Israeli army issued a warning to evacuate the towns of Haboush and Deir Al-Zahrani, urging people to move at least 1,000 meters away to open areas, claiming that the army "is forced to act with force against Hezbollah" due to "its violation of the ceasefire agreement." The same day, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center announced that "the cumulative toll of Israeli attacks from March 2 to May 20 has risen to 3,073 dead and 9,362 injured." A fragile ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon is still in place, amid ongoing talks between the sides. The IDF has installed a so-called 'yellow line' in southern Lebanon, and prevented people returning to areas under its control, which it says is to prevent strikes and attacks by Hezbollah on its territory.
