Vince Francis Dingding family opts for remains to be buried in Negros

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Slain Vince Francis Dingding, a former University of the Philippines student leader who later became affiliated with the New People’s Army (NPA), will be buried in Negros and will no longer be brought back to Cebu, according to Capitol Site Barangay Captain Kelly Quijada. In an interview with CDN Digital, Quijada said Dingding’s family had already made the difficult decision to have his remains buried in Negros following his death in an encounter with government forces in Cauayan last May 16.
