ILOILO CITY — The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) has intensified its crackdown on local ordinance violators across Western Visayas as part of its campaign to maintain peace, order, and public discipline in communities throughout the region. A consolidated report covering operations from May 1 to 22 showed that police units from provincial and city offices arrested or flagged a total of 9,211 violators regionwide. Traffic violations topped the list with 4,431 apprehensions, followed by 2,596 individuals caught drinking or smoking in public places.
