After concerns, land around historic Quebec campsite, lake will be protected in perpetuity

A landmark deal between a private landowner, the Nature Conservancy of Canada and various level of government will protect 300 hectares of land around Lac Tamaracouta in Mille-Isles, Que. The site will be open to the public and will be part conservation and part recreational tourism.
