MANILA, Philippines - The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) was seeking a specific law in addressing troll farms. "We are probably proposing a bill...because we do not have a specific law," NBI Director Melvin Matibag said in Filipino and English in the Saturday News Forum. "We're always hearing troll farms, that there are troll farms but we do not have legal basis or legal cover to go after troll farms," Matibag said. He said that "we are addressing it. We are in the process of procuring tools to combat this so that we can fight this kind of system."
